The bird house in India in the province of Shukawana in the city of Mysuru has been recognized by the Guinness World Book of Records as an institution that is home to the largest number of species of rare birds. The height of the enclosure is 50 meters and 2100 of the brightest representatives of birds inhabit its area. In the bird house you can meet 468 different kinds of birds.

The initiator of the creation of such a large enclosure was Dr. Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji, head of the spiritual, cultural and charitable organization Avadhoota Datta Peetham in the city of Mysuru.

Sri Ganapati collected so many birds in one huge aviary to preserve and promote the rarest and endangered species.

In addition to the aviary, a large clinic was built by Dr. Shri Ganapati, whose activities are aimed at treating and restoring all the birds that come to them.

Shri Ganapati has an extraordinary bond with his pets – he has successfully trained many parrots to talk, allowing people to easily make contact with birds.
